Hi! My name is Meg, and I'm an illustrator, educator and maker of things. I live and work in the wooded city of Portland, OR. My goal is to fill the world with my creations, and make people happy in the process.

My first picture book Interstellar Cinderella was published by Chronicle Books in 2015 and has been given starred reviews from Booklist and Publisher's Weekly, who also listed it as one of their best summer books of the year. I was featured as one of Publisher's Weekly's Flying Starts for Summer 2015 as well.

Currently, my focus is creating charming and colorful character-based illustrations, lettering and patterns for editorial/publishing/product markets. But I always want to explore and try new things-- product design, gift cards, animations, childrens' books, stationery, textiles and oh, all sorts of things. In short, let's work together!

Past projects have included the following services:

editorial illustration, book illustration, hand-drawn lettering, surface design, character design, limited color design for screenprinting/offset/Risograph, development work for animation, packaging, 2D and 3D artwork for spaces/installations, and curation.
